Join us for our 3-part Writing a Business Plan – Narrative Series! Sponsored by Maine Technology Institute.
Writing a business plan gives you an opportunity to carefully think through the steps of starting your business, so you can better prepare and handle any challenges. While a detailed business plan is essential in the financing process, it's helpful even if you don’t need outside financing.
This interactive online workshop series will feature breakout sessions and ample time for questions.
PART II: VALUE PROPOSITION
This session will cover the sections of the business plan related to the value proposition for your business and the product or service it will provide. We will cover not only the customer facing aspects of your value proposition (such as: customer pain points, features / benefits and differentiation). Attendees will participate in a small group breakout session to present and discuss your business’ Value Proposition.
Your Presenter: Josh Saunders
Josh Saunders currently works with a variety of businesses, utilizing his experiences in operations and executive level management to help them to identify, explore and capitalize on new opportunities, while optimizing current processes. Josh has served as the Senior Operations Director for a national engineering firm, led the sales and marketing efforts of a regional modular home builder and served as President of a multi-million dollar wood products manufacturer. Josh has also counseled small business and entrepreneurs both as a SCORE volunteer and a full-time counselor with the Maine Small Business Development Centers.
Josh received his AB in Engineering from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH and his MBA from the University of Southern Maine in Portland. Josh, his wife and their two children live in Cumberland, Maine.
